Morgan, the Beaver (Castor Canadensis)

Morgan, the beaver, his teeth never stop,
his teeth grow all day and all night and
he chops down the trees,
and he chews them non-stop.
Morgan's a beaver, and trees are his crop.
He has to keep going;
he doesn't dare stop;
he's chewing and chewing;
he's hewing non-stop.
Or else his long teeth will get very much longer
take over his head,
become very much stronger,
and then they will post him quite stuck in the ground.
He'll turn to a statue that things walk around,
or he'll have to walk upright and yank back his head
and steer through the forest-backwards-with-a-mirror
or else wind up dead,
so he chews, and he chews and maintains his good health
in the broadest of daylights.
These trees are his wealth!
So remember dear Morgan and plant him a tree,
and you'll help him keep practicing good dentistry!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
